We are a well-established, small civil engineering firm with a true family-style culture. Most of our team has been with us 7–10 years, and we pride ourselves on being collaborative, friendly, and supportive. We are currently in an exciting leadership transition, as our longtime president prepares for retirement. This role will report directly to Matt Drumheller and is positioned for significant growth and leadership responsibility.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support and lead stormwater and land development projects, with a strong emphasis on project management and long-term leadership growth. This role is ideal for an engineer who wants to grow into a Lead Engineer and eventually take on Head of Operations–level responsibilities.

Stormwater and land development experience is preferred, but can be learned on the job for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage civil engineering projects from planning through execution
  • Support stormwater management and land development design
  • Coordinate with municipalities, clients, and internal teams
  • Participate in on-site and field work as needed
  • Attend occasional evening meetings (paid separately)
  • Mentor junior staff as the role grows
  • Contribute to operational and leadership initiatives over time

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years of civil engineering experience
  • PE not required
  • Background in civil/site engineering, land development, or related work
  • Interest in project management and leadership growth
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, outgoing personality that fits a close-knit team
